On December 15th, 35 junior high and high school students who wished to participate among the students of Kouka Gakuen (Chofu City, Tokyo) took the course. Madoka Tatsuno, Representative Director of the Global Education Promotion Project (GiFT), talked about the ideas necessary to achieve the SDGs. "Each person has a different answering method, which is said to be a collection of problems with only goals written. From the outside of the earth, which is the universe, we are" earth volunteers. " Let's do it. It is important to calculate the present from the goal. "

Huawei Japan Public & Industrial Relationship Manager Guo Yu gave a lecture on how to utilize ICT (Information and Communication Technology) for the realization of SDGs. He introduced familiar examples of ICT utilization such as airplanes, bullet trains, and water pipes, and summarized that "ICT is the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and utilization supports the SDGs." After this, discussions were held and students actively shared their opinions and practices. "I am working with NGOs to purify water in Cambodia." "I am thinking about how to solve the vacant house problem in cooperation with companies and universities." "I have been looking overseas so far. However, I received advice that it is important to cooperate with the community. " Director Tatsuno said, "I was impressed not only by the idea, but also by the fact that we have a system in place, such as taking over from seniors and connecting with companies and NGOs." On-site lessons will be held at the following schools that are engaged in learning SDGs (in no particular order).
