REPORT ◉ Chizuko Morishita (Professional equipment dot com Inter BEE 2019 (November 13th to 15th) Makuhari Messe Hall 6 exhibited at her booth 6101)
At the organizer's exhibition during the exhibition for business photo studios called "PHOTO NEXT 2019", we continued to propose the introduction of video distribution and live distribution equipment for photo studios from last year. The photo studio already has space and has multiple cameras in the kitchen. Nowadays, there are many photo studios that are forced out of business due to the alienation of customers without launching new services. Therefore, since we are using a camera, which is a common tool, we dare to ask if there is a possibility that we can provide new services such as video and live distribution services, video distribution rental studios, etc. At the exhibition, I tried to propose a video service while actually demonstrating live distribution.
At this booth, three cameras will be placed in a size of 2 x 2 m, which is even smaller than the normal exhibition booth, and multicam distribution will be performed. There were two walls and the other two facing the aisle, so although it was a small booth, I managed to fit it. As for the background, I stuck a background for microfiber photography with a width of 2m and a height of 3m on the wall. Assuming 2 to 3 guests. Place a small chair and a round table in front of the background. I used three LUMIX GH4 lenses in front of the table, and since the lens is close to the subject, I used wide-angle to standard zoom lenses of 8-18mm, 12-35mm, and 12-60mm.
For lighting, a ring-shaped beauty light is placed on the front, a surface light source RX-12TDX roll flex LED light is used from the side, and a spot-type 160w LED light is RX as a touch light that illuminates the area around the back hair of the performer from the background. -12 I put it in the wall side top on the opposite side of the TDX.
By the way, this switcher was unveiled for the first time at a domestic event with the cooperation of Mr. Roland and Mr. JVC KENWOOD Co., Ltd., Roland AV streaming mixer VR-1HD and multi-format video mixer V-02HD, and just renewed. I was able to borrow the CONNECTTED CAM STUDIO IP6000. The images from the three cameras are input to the VR-1HD, and when the guest brings in a PC and switches to the PC image, the out image from the VR-1HD that input the camera image and the PC image are input to the V-02HD, and the guest Step on the foot pedal yourself to switch between the camera and the PC. This was popular because it was easy for guests to switch images. The V-02HD video is finally encoded using Liveshell.X and CONNECTTED CAM STUDIO IP6000 and sent to the distribution platform. In addition, the delivered video was recorded in the CONNECTTED CAM STUDIO IP 6000. CONNECTTED CAM STUDIO IP6000 is a switcher, but it can not only switch video but also record, encode, and distribute with one unit. The delivery image quality is up to FHD, but there is no limit to the number of platforms that can be delivered. In this live distribution, we used two main switchers, Roland, but the CONNECTTED CAM STUDIO IP6000 was a big success in the recording and distribution part. In addition, as a demonstration for passing visitors, by remotely controlling JVC's PTZ camera KY-PZ100 equipped with an optical 30x zoom, the video and the video being delivered can be switched and shown with the CONNECTTED CAM STUDIO IP6000. , A passerby stopped me.
▲ Two GH4s on the front side, closer to the MC and the angle of the whole pull. The guest, Photonium (a unit of 3 cameramen), is also live-streaming on a regular basis and is good at talking.
▲ VR-1HD and V-02HD are used. Many people have never touched video equipment before, but quite a lot of people were interested in VR-1HD and asked about the price.
▲ PTZ camera controller and CONNECTTED CAM STUDIO IP 6000. It is used in combination with a touch panel monitor, and when you touch it, the picture on the output monitor changes, so passersby are surprised.
The big difference between the environment that is usually distributed in-house and the exhibition event was the level of the surrounding sound. Moreover, the location of our booth was very close to the seminar venue, and the sound of the seminar was heard at a loud volume. When I was the first guest, Photonium, I used a lavalier microphone that I usually use, but I picked up too much noise and it became difficult to hear the guest's voice. When I checked the equipment the day before, I used a microphone for test distribution, but on the preparation day the day before, there were few people and I didn't hold a seminar, so the surrounding sounds were completely different, and there was so much noise. I didn't realize that I would enter. So I gave up using an omnidirectional lavalier microphone and improved it to pick up the guest's voice in a narrow range using a directional dynamic microphone.
However, when using a dynamic microphone, if you have it, you should be aware that it will be close to your mouth to some extent, but it was a disaster to use the microphone stand so that you can concentrate on talking, and this time when the guest is absorbed in talking, Mike's There were also scenes where the guest's voice couldn't be heard because they moved away from the microphone without being aware of the direction and talked in a different direction from the microphone. So, in the end, I asked the guests to talk before the show started, paying attention to the direction of their face to the microphone and the distance from the microphone. So the sound part improved considerably with each time, the second time than the first time, and the third time than the second time.
In this way, we proposed live distribution that can make effective use of existing spaces and cameras, but the number of people who are interested and stop and ask various questions has increased by far compared to last year. Last year, there were many people who didn't understand even if they explained that it was a live stream with switching multi-cameras, so instead of recommending the product, it was all they could do to explain what they were doing. However, this year, the number of people who have some knowledge of video has increased, and many people have asked more in-depth questions such as product prices. Especially for those who already have a camera, the VR-1HD seems to be the most intriguing, and you can buy it! There were many people who said. Anyway, it was impressive that the reaction and temperature feeling of the visitors changed considerably in one year. In the future, live distribution of companies in industries unrelated to the video production and distribution industry is likely to become more exciting.
